Hey, Frenchy!

December 26, 2011
hey there!!! it's a little late to wish a happy christmas to all af you.
it's been a while since our last exhibition, but as mentioned earlier, number 2011 will be as hip as it gets for all of female doodler, illustrator, painter and designer members of BRAngerous with load of plans and gigs scheduled.

Back in the days of 2007, where we start our first exhibition at Centre Culturel et de Cooperation Linguistique (CCCL) Surabaya. By then, we came out with "Speak your mind" theme and also made pairs and pairs of customized bras, and show them off at the consulate's magnificent building, and made the hallway just like Wall of Fame. Those was unforgettable! see our old post

Next year (which is only few days ahead) CCCL Surabaya is moving out to their new office. It's a little bit sad, because this building has been through so many lovely things for decades. It's beautiful garden with shady trees, warm and homey library and classroom are most of the things we'll be missed.

c'est la vie, things come and go. But no time for gloom, we're about to bringback those memory, (but not with more bras, of course) by holding an exhibition in French theme, "What We Love about France" on March 2012.

This exhibition is in odeto thank CCCL Surabaya for the generosity to support young talents and also nurture art and culture enthusiasts in Surabaya more than 40years, and never once lack of spirit! so...Salute!

So, we want you to participate!
we are mostly invite all of female artists, illustrators, painters, designers, photographers all across the nation to join our Frenchy exposition to show off your art or to give a simple gratitude for one of the most iconic place of Surabaya. All you have to do is register to BRAngerous, fill the exhibition application and email them to us.

Send us your painting, comic, drawings, pictures, writings or ANY artworks to us. If your artwork's chosen for the curration, we'll spare a nice clean spot for you ;)

au revoir, girls!
